| Yes friends, repent now for the end is upon us, the signs have been laid out and now a new sign of the end of the world has emerged. Before I reveal this new sign of the apocalypse lets recap past signs that you may have missed. Sign 1: Upright Walking Monkey = Reign of the Damned Dirty Apes
In a zoo outside of Tel Aviv, Israel a 5 year old macaque monkey suffered from a near death experience and began walking upright on it's hind legs only. Today it walks on it's hind legs, tomorrow it wears battle gear and tries capturing all the damned dirty humans. 2. Big Momma's House 2
Why? 3. Lindsay Lohan impervious to death
C'mon shouldn't she have died by now?? proof yet again that the end is near. AND FINALLY THE NEWEST SIGN OF THE APOCALPYSE!!! THE SPICE GIRLS RE-UNITE!!!
IS THERE ANY HOPE FOR HUMANITY????
| I may sound like a news nerd for saying this but "Thank God those stupid whales are back in the sea!! I am not exactly relieved that they are alive or anything, but I am glad to see other news besides the daily update of the whales..now if we can work on that Iraq thing.." for those not keeping score, 2 humpback whales swam up into the san fransico bay and people, scientists and boaters have been trying to get them to go back into the ocean. This went on almost 2 weeks. So many people were concerned with them going into fresh water, and to me it was retarded. I mean if i was running out of air, i'd try to get more air not continue to not breathe, if the whales were dumb enough to swim into water they can't live in, then let nature take it's course, Mother Nature has a knack for making sure stupid animals don't reproduce and continue on. I mean look at the Dodo bird, it just laid it's eggs on the ground not caring and other animals ate them while the rest were killed by hunters, and the panda's somehow forgot how to breed and only decide to eat one food source and now they're on the list now...just saying if you refuse to adapt you'll eventually die..wow i could really turn this into a sermon or moral story with this transition. Being in the newsroom everymorning, i've been caught up on hollywood news too. I'm pretty sure sometime by next summer Lindsey Lohan will end up OD'ing or something stupid like that. Britney is susposedly cleaning up her act by writing a letter to her fans about hitting rock bottom...and she goes a little further by having a risque topless-but-still-covering-them-and-by-them-i-mean-boobs picture, which really doesn't do it because her wig is a little loose. Nice try britney but no cigar or respect. I caught a few of this summer's films most have been about par or sub-par but Pirates managed to be pretty good despite being confusing and having LOTS more of that really hard to understand voodoo girl, it managed to be better than the 2nd. It does have cheesyness in it like will and elizabeth taking wedding vows during a vicous swordfight and Voodoo girl turning into Voodoogirlzilla for 4 minutes but none-the-less the last hour is a non-stop fight that saves it. Spidey however didn't do it for me as well as the last 2, but that's ok he's still a hero to me. They just made Peter really lame when he was "evil emo boy jazz dancing fool". Venom was a little short lived. But maybe they'll do better next time since it is approved for 2-3 more sequels. Well that's enough ranting from me, but i assure you I'll be back soon with more =Brad PS: new LP is different but pretty cool | | |
| All week I've been waking up at 4 am to go to work at my new job at KTXS, so far I haven't done my bad habit of resetting my alarms. I think the reason is that I've set 4 of them so by the 2nd alarm I'm more or less awake. So far I've made the anchor lady mad for cutting her off on audio....whoops, but I think this is the last week of dumb misakes. they're also edgy because of sweeps. So it's understandable. One cool thing about the job is that I'm up to the pulse on the current news in both nation and abilene. For example, that guy that is on the "Come Home to McMurray" billboard got arrested for murder!! So I'm sure they're taking those signs down very quickly. We are done with rain until tuesday! if i wasn't working there I wouldn't know this crap and my car would've been completely soaked on the inside for me leaving cracked windows. Unfortunately I've been a energy drink and coffee guzzler lately. So hopefully I'll just be awake without relying on that in a few weeks. Well finals are over and I'm pretty freaking happy about that. | | |

Musing 1: Mavs Lose!!!! and a lil message to San Antonio fans Yes, I know my team choked in the first round and I know that they were the 1 seed team, and I know how this is the upset of the year, but to you retarded spurs fans that'll be inevitably talking trash, I'll be laughing when Dirk gets MVP in a few weeks instead of your people. So yeah us Mavs fans will get the last laugh. And don't expect me to cheer for the spurs either, as of now, I'm rooting for the suns for my team to win this season. Gotta support Nash plus they eliminated the evil lakers. Golden State had some good luck this round, they had the former Mavs coach Don Nelson telling them of the weaknesses of the Mavs, and Dirk played horrible...but that's ok since he's going to be MVP.
anyway I wanted to fire the first shot at the trash talk I'll be hearing by my spur fan friends.
Musing 2: New Job As of yesterday I am now working at KTXS, it's not exactly the exact thing I am going into, but it is what I feel is a important stepping stone that will eventually get me to what i want to do, and if anything else It's a foot in the door and that's really important. The only downside is working at 4:30 in the morning until 9, but after a few weeks I'll get used to it. I already planned out my sleep schedule, I will go to bed about 11 nightly and then sleep for a hour when i come home...BRILIANT!!! Musing 3: Lost coming to a end??? There's a report that lost will be ending in 09, and I am glad. I think that it is best as a few seasons. Plus there's a rumor that a few big names are dying in the next few episodes, I still haven't recovered from the abrupt killing off of Eko which might have been the jump of the shark for me, so I think if the rumors more people will die happens, they should wrap it up before it becomes diluted and boring. Musing 4: Spider-man I am hyped about seeing Spider-man 3, but I won't get to see it til next weekend at the earliest, which may end up the week after due to work. Me and Stacey both work this weekend and finals are going to stop us from going all next week, and when that's over with it's insane work weekend revisited, so under NO circumstances should you tell me what happens!!!! not til i say i saw it. capiche? In a related story I-mockery.com has made a list of the dumbest spiderman things such as this action figure of spiderman as a fisherman. more on http://www.i-mockery.com/shorts/spiderman-stupid/default.php
Musing 5: This animal thing everyone's doing: I don't know what exactly it means, but I'm a bad ass snow leopard aparently. I look pretty and cool but I will rip your throat out I guess...?? " target="_new"> Ok well I'm out stay classy peeps
| I wanted to share a few things with you today, since i'm in a great mood. why? well I've been dating Stacey for a year today, it seems longer, sometimes it doesn't even seem that long, but none-the-less it led to me being really happy today. First thing to share
YEP That's James Hetfield recording. Finally the album is recording, i"m so excited and with them saying this gave me hope for the new album: "This is the first time they've recorded outside of the Bay Area since they spent an eternity at One-On-One Studios recording The Black Album in '90 and '91. The last couple days have been devoted to each band member working out the right sounds, including Lars who remembered to turn on the snare and Kirk who played a solo! " In other words, they heard all the complaining from "St. Anger" over no guitar solos and the annoying stare drum sound, plus it's the studio where the black album was made so that might be good luck. 2. I've been watching a lot of these guys lately:
It's probably the dumbest show ever, but it's also one of the funniest. Unfortunately it lasted only one season, despite being one of the top 10 new shows of the year by Entertainment Weekly, it was axed while mind of mencia and blue collar tv was renewed that year. Which neither are near as funny as Stella. Oh well comedy central's loss. 3. finally, I hate cats. I got the piss scared out of me and stace last night by one. The night before me, her, mary all watched some Stella, hung out late and when i was walking stace to her car we were going to look and see if we could see the meteor shower that was susposed to happen that night, but it was cloudy. However last night it wasn't cloudy and we were walking to her car looking at the stars and I guess just the way it was sitting on Alan's car made it look human, but this cat just darted out in front of us and made me jump about a foot back and stace to almost jump in my arms. i think we scared the cat more than it scared us, but we tried to coax it over but it was just glaring at us. I'm sure it'll forgive me, I often feed it sour milk or stuff that i cook that either tastes bad or i burn, and occassionally fat that I cut off chicken when i cook. Well not much has happened lately but i wanted to say hi to my xanga fanbase. =Brad PS: The Chevelle concert was cool minus the eye level stage. But there was a mitch hedberg lookalike and a funny air guitar guy next to us (who cheered for me for like 3 minutes after I picked stacey up to show her something on stage, don't know why but to him it was super-cool, but not as cool as his air-guitar skillz)
